Metr Grotesk is a geometric grotesk drawn for headlines that need to shout and for text that needs to stay quiet. Five weights run from Thin to Bold, each with a 10° italic. The variable font sets every weight in between and any slant from upright to italic.
Single-storey a and descending f (ss01), serif capital I (ss02), straight l (ss03).
True small caps for acronyms, running heads and quiet emphasis.
Fractions, tabular figures and a slashed zero.
Arrows, ligatures and case-sensitive punctuation.
Latin Extended-A: Czech, Slovak, Polish, Hungarian, Romanian, Turkish, the Baltic languages, Catalan, Icelandic and Western Europe.
Over 1,200 class pairs, tested on long running text.
Every family licence includes all 10 styles and the variable font. Buy once, use for good. Updates of version 1.x are free.
